ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Helen!

I’m a Welsh author of crime fiction and psychological thrillers, although I also dabble in flash fiction and somewhat obscure poetry. Born and raised in South Wales, I studied Astrophysics at Cardiff University before moving to Devon to work at the Met Office. I enjoyed writing stories as a child, but it was only after taking a career break from my job as a Project and Programme Manager in 2019 that I began writing fiction as an adult. I now write full time, and live in Gloucestershire with my husband and our very cute, but slightly chaotic cavapoo.

My debut novel, The Domino Man, is due out next year.

A white woman in her early-forties, with blue eyes and shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a light grey cardigan with silver buttons. She is smiling while sitting on a beige couch, with modern abstract art hanging on the wall behind her.
