GIVEAWAY - TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions apply to the Autumn Giveaway associated with Helen Jones’ October 2026 Newsletter.
The prize is a blue and orange themed bundle, containing:
an uncorrected proof copy (paperback) of Helen’s debut novel The Domino Man
a promotional bookmark, postcard and enamel pin
a pumpkin shaped and scented candle
a Terry’s (milk) Chocolate Orange
a pack of Twining’s English Breakfast Tea
Entry is via signing up (including checking the box on the form, and validating your email address via automated email) to Helen Jones’s newsletter. All fields must be completed and submitted for the entry to count.
UK Addresses only.
The giveaway opens at 8am (UK Time) on Sunday 20th September 2026 and closes at 12pm on Thursday 1st October 2026.
The ‘Entrant’ is the person completing the submission, whose email address is provided.
Entrants must be aged 18 or over. The giveaway is open worldwide, by the Winner must be able to provide a UK Address for Delivery.
This giveaway is not open to employees or contractors of Simon & Schuster UK or Helen Jones, their immediate families, nor to any other person connected with the above.
There will be 1 winner, who will win the bundle as listed above.
Helen Jones reserves the right to amend the specification of the giveaway or offer an alternative of equivalent status. No cash alternative will be offered. The giveaway is non-transferable.
Unsuccessful entrants will not be contacted. Helen Jones’s decision on all matters is final.
A random draw of all valid entries will take place within four working days after the closing date above to select the winner. The winner will be notified by the email address provided on the entry and MUST respond by midnight within seven days of the date of contact with their postal address. If a selected winner does not meet all of the entry conditions or refuses the prize, another entrant will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries within a reasonable time frame.
In exceptional circumstances Helen may be required to terminate, amend or withdraw this promotion and/or these terms and conditions.
Entry to the giveaway is conditional on acceptance of these terms and conditions, which are governed exclusively by English Law and under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. By entering this giveaway you are deemed to have read and accepted these terms.
The contact details you provide upon entry to the giveaway will be used by Helen Jones to notify winners or to check eligibility requirements have been met, and will not be shared with other companies, without exception. Helen will only use your email address and other personal information in compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (including any amended, equivalent or subsequent legislation). All data related to this giveaway will be deleted within six months of successful completion of the giveaway.
